Media Coverage
We are grateful for news coverage that helps raise awareness about the Stop Race Based Hate anti-racism education tool. We've round-up ongoing coverage in this post.
How this tool came to be
Stop Race-Based Hate grew out of a desire from a trio of friends to DO SOMETHING about racism and hate crimes against people of colour.

This tool was developed in Treaty 6 and 7—traditional and ancestral territories of the many First Nations and Métis in Alberta. We express respect for Indigenous people who have and continue to care for this land, and gratitude for the land on which users of this resource reside. We are committed to reconciliation and believe anti-racism work is crucial to it. We acknowledge that not all people of colour experience trauma and racism on the same level. As work on this anti-racism resource is ongoing, our intention is to include more resources and specific, community-focused scenarios and situations that speak specifically about (and can ultimately help) different groups who experience racism—particularly Indigenous communities.
